I am a self-taught artist with a life-long interest in art. In 1999 I began working with watercolors and more recently began working with acrylics. My work has been exhibited in local and regional shows where I have won various
awards. I am a member of Women Painters of Washington, South Hill Artists, and a Signature Member of Norhtwest Watercolor Society. I also teach one-day
Watercolor Workshops at
South Hill Studio in Puyallup. My watercolors are uniquely realistic, using bright colors to catch the viewer's eye, from vivid foliage and floral, to architecture and domestic cats. I create rich earth toned abstracts with my acrylic paper collage technique. When summer comes you will find me busy in my booth at one of the local art festivals, paintings and visiting with people; check out my
Upcoming Events for more information.
My artwork is also displayed is Washington and Oregon galleries:
Lakeshore Gallery in Kirkland,
Earth Artisans Gallery in Tenino,
Fusions Gallery in Ocean Shores,
Millstream in Pioneer Square,
Collectible Cat in Sumner, and
Botticelli's Gallery in Corvallis, Oregon.
